Ketlin Peterson, attorney at law, is an experienced attorney specializing in employment law as well as corporate and M&A. In addition to Estonian and English, she advises clients in German.​

Ketlin is skilled in drafting and preparing employment, corporate and other legal documentation. She is able to provide guidance on all workplace-related legal issues. Ketlin is proficient in interfacing with HR and business executives on significant employment matters.​

She has experience in the following areas:​

• Employment matters from everyday situations and documentation to restructuring and workforce reduction, executive hiring and firing, the personal liability of executives, incentive schemes and employee benefits, confidentiality and non-compete clauses, internal documentation, and employee privacy issues and GDPR compliance for HR documents, systems and processes;​

• Corporate matters from routine corporate support to complex corporate restructuring projects, directors' liability, and shareholder conflicts, including establishment and support of client business in Estonia;​

• Personal Data Protection and Privacy matters including day-to-day consulting on varied issues pertaining to data protection and privacy (e.g. determining the legality of and legal bases for processing personal data and the roles in processing personal data, defining data retention periods, regulating cross-border transfers of personal data, appointing data protection officers, etc).​

Prior to joining PwC Legal, Ketlin worked in the law firm Magnusson for five years. ​

She is a member of the Estonian Bar Association since 2019. Ketlin holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Tartu.​
